I don't know about you, but I am not quite ready for the back to school season. Here in Tennessee, we start back at the very beginning of August. What happened to following the seasons listed on the calendar? Despite my back to school blues, I am still excited to meet my new bunch of 6th graders. They are always so scared and stressed out on their first day of middle school, so I always work my hardest to make sure that they feel 100% safe and comfy in my classroom. What techniques do you use to help ease the nerves of your students on the first day(s) back to school?
If you are suffering from some back to school blues yourself, then you should enter below for your chance to win a $75 TPT Gift Card! Also please check out some of my best selling back to school resources below! Happy August, everyone! Meet the Teacher Info Sheet
